Borrow

Tenor allows you to either borrow at the market rate, with a limit order, or a custom offer.

Borrow at Market Rate

1. Go to the Tenor app homepage and select the Borrow tab.
2. Select the token you want to borrow and the collateral asset you want to borrow against.
3. Enter the amount you wish to borrow.
4. Set your preferred loan-to-value ratio (LTV).
5. Click the Market button.
6. Select a term.
7. Click Review Order.
8. Select your renewal policy.
9. Review your order details.
10. Confirm and sign the transaction in your wallet.

Once you open a position, you can monitor and manage it on the Portfolio page.

Borrow with a Limit Order

1. Go to the Tenor app homepage and select the Borrow tab.
2. Select the token you want to borrow and the collateral asset you want to borrow against.
3. Enter the amount you wish to borrow.
4. Set your preferred loan-to-value ratio (LTV).
5. Click the Limit button.
6. Select a term.
7. Choose an APR.
8. Click Review Order.
9. Select your renewal policy.
10. Review your order details.
11. Confirm and sign the transaction in your wallet.

Note that your collateral will only be deposited after your limit order is executed. Once you place your limit, you can monitor and manage it on the Portfolio page.
